It all started with an empty Altoids tin...

When I was 6 years old I started my first business selling handmade friendship bracelets out of an empty Altoids tin outside on the playground ("curiously strong" minty scent included at no extra charge).  The summer after 2nd grade, while growing up on a military base, my little brother and I sold "Icy Cups" of frozen Kool-Aide in styrofoam cups, available in 6 different flavors, out of my parents extra freezer.  At .25 a piece we sold enough that summer to buy a big trampoline just before getting shut down by the neighborhood MP's because of the styrofoam trash found blowing all over the neighborhood from our many satisfied "clients."

Twenty five years later my love for small businesses and the entrepreneurs behind them has found its perfect match alongside my current profession as a successful and sought after commercial product stylist and photographer.

In 2013, out of the desire to provide gorgeous photography to my friends with newer businesses that could not afford custom commercial work, I created the SC Stockshop and introduced the concept of "styled stock" as the very first of its kind. From the very beginning, it was born out of a deep desire to help other entrepreneurs succeed by making beautiful styled photography available to creative small business owners everywhere -whether she is selling friendship bracelets out of an Altoids tin or purveying a new frozen treat to the world.

As we have seen the "styled stock" concept become an overnight sensation we take pride in continuing to provide the most stunning, detailed, professionally styled and highest quality styled stock available on the market today.

When I am not styling beautiful products for global clients or creating images for the Stockshop, I can usually be found chasing around my two daughters (7 and 4) or recovering from another full day on the back porch swing with my love of 10 years chatting over a glass of good red wine. Other talents include: building forts out of cardboard boxes, spontaneous song and dance and collecting houseplants.

These images have been designed to become a part of your branding just like a logo or font choice.

As an entrepreneur yourself, you know how frustrating and discouraging it can be when people misuse, steal, giveaway or alter your work. With that in mind, please don't change the colors or move the props around - it just doesn't look as good (and infringes on the usage terms)!

Feel free to crop the image any way that you want and overlay it with text or designs to help you to promote your brand and sell more products!

By purchasing the image you are agreeing not to give the image (or a part of the image) away to anyone else in ANY way even if you turned it into a beautiful free e-book cover, or snazzy desktop screen savor.

It would also be just plain wrong to re-sell the image in any form such as turning it into an art print or including it in a website or other template design.

Lastly, using an SC Stockshop image to sell your styling course, webinar or other styling related training is sort of false advertising. Show them the styling that YOU have done so that they know exactly what they are in for and can get excited!  This is not meant to scare you.

If you have any questions or concerns about the legal use of our images please don't hesitate to shoot us an e-mail! We don't bite!
